Hi Dirk,
Beautiful figures very nicely painted. Are the shield patterns transfers or painted?
When I saw the Ex-Force figures I just couldn't resist buying some, and now it has snowballed. Part of the reason behind this was your About Caesar rules. Haven't played them yet - still painting the figures!!!! But looking forward to using your rules for the games.
Best Wishes Dave

If you want advice with the rule, just give a sign. Cheers Dirk

Thanks Dirk. Not ready to play yet - still painting the armies (my mate will play but has no interest in doing any painting in 54mm scale).
However, I liked your suggestion in the rules that you try them out with just a few units - so should be ready by Autumn. Sounds silly, but I always feel you have to have the complete rules before playing. Your suggestion in your rules has made me rethink this.
Will certainly take you up on your kind offer should I require help (that goes for the Bonaparte and Cromwell rules as well!!!!!!!)
Best Wishes Dave

Hi.
For all those who like the Expeditionary-force figures, here's the latest news I've received from Scott Lam.
I asked if they were doing any Arab Camelry for the Persian range (they featured rather nicely in the battle in the Alexander film). Scott says that they will do dome for the Mediaeval Arabs/Turkish range, so we can obtain some then. However, no release date.
Romans and Carthaginians will be the next major release after the Napoleonics (they're due at the end of August). They will feature Republican and Early Imperial armies.this will be either late 2017 or early 2018.
I asked about elephants for the Persian range. That will be doing elephants for the Romano-Cathaginian range (with tower) with an option for the Persian/ Indian range (no tower). No date given, but will obviously be 2018 now.
Over the next week, their website is to be updated, so look out for the new re-tooled Greek/Persian sets.
Greek Artillery ( torsion catapults = scorpio) is designed. It will cover the main field artillery war machines but there are no plans at the moment for large siege engines.
Hope that's useful.
Best Wishes Dave
