Hi all,
On a whim, I picked up a small pile of Britain's Deetail Knights and Saracens/Turks. Of course, now I want more.
I'm thinking Neil Thomas's OHW Medieval rules and setup - just 4 bases of knights, 2 of men-at-arms, 2 of archers and 2 of levies.
I can find the other figures (mostly Deetail), but i'm having trouble finding figures suitable for levies. Suggestions?
Thanks!
-John

CTS has the Robin hood figures but scanning through they also have a possibly useful box of Normans from CTA that I wasn't aware of and which might be useful as well as both Marx and Emhar vikings again some figures useable as later levies, sometime with just paint conversion, in other cases minor conversion such as slicing off horns to make a plain helmet or leather cap. One or 2 of the unarmoured or lightly armoured Accurate and Airfix figures can also be used as levies but only a few figures in each box. Italeri saracens make good light cavalry back up for the Turks. www.classictoysoldiers.com/btw I have a bunch of Deetail knights and Saracens, looking for a new home drop me an email if you're interested. Thank you both for the suggestions. I'll be checking them out on my lunch break.
Ross, I've emailed you about your Deetail knights and Saracens (john.yorio AT gmail.com)
Thanks!

John,
I also had a collection of Britains Super Deetail knights and saracens which Mike and I used to play a game of Lion Rampant (we used the Hollywood Camelot lists:)

Anthony,
I've seen a number of AARs using those rules and they looked quite fun.
I'll have to check them out.
Thanks!
