My collection of little (42mm) wooden soldiers increases - I'll park all the finished photos here. Today I finished off a Hollywood style US Cavalry trooper (thinking 'She Wore a Yellow Ribbon', 1949), although the inspiration actually came from a book purchase -G.I.'s 'Sound the Charge: The U.S. Cavalry in the American West 1866-1916'. Would love to make up a troop of these (including the standard bearer), but I'm deeply into my Franco-Prussian War project at the moment. Beaty

Brilliant. Not only the skilful carving/making of the figures, but also the fantastic painting. Is it as time consumingbas it looks?
Best Wishes Dave
