One of the other forums I'm on has information that the Replica figures produced by the late Pat Campbell are back in production by Replica Model Soldiers and Models. They seem to be old Britain's in style and produce a wide range of British infantry and cavalry as well as a large range of Indian Army figures. Look them up on www.replicametalsoldiers.co.ukBest Wishes Dave

I saw replica models at the Birmingham show today. They have a lovely range of figures and it's well worth visiting the site. Figures sold as castings as well as painted to a good standard.

How was the show? I was disappointed at having to miss it...

Hi Mike, I enjoyed the show, although it's not a huge one. Lots of soldiers for sale though, although one or two commented that the Northern traders prices seemed more realistic (generous/reasonable) than the Southern traders. But I wouldn't know.
Don't want to sound like I'm being a creep, but I did miss not seeing you and Anthony and having a good chat. In fact, the Replica Miniatures chap I talked to was in exactly the same place you were in last year. Hope you'll be able to attend next year.
One of the highlights of the day was talking to James Opie who was at the Replica Miniatures stall.
Best Wishes Dave
