Hi Anthony,
See pinofnoir01's post under Basing 54mm figures in this 19th century section. He explains his basing there. Sounds very interesting Best Wishes Dave

Leipzig scenario last Saturday Prussians took the field with and Austrian cavalry corps on the left, three small Prussian corps left, center and right, with a supporting Russian corps on the far right. The allied cavalry managed to sweep their French counterparts, the Prussians got stuck in early with a lot of give and take, the Russians blasted a French corps apart with massed artillery then routed everything sent to retrieve the French left. As all this was playing out the French repeatedly blew their "bring in the reserve" rolls. Guard reinforcements would have tipped the scales as half the French force were conscripts. Blucher works well with this scale , 600 plus figure game played to conclusion in just under 3 hours by six wargamers. Can see another 20 pictures and a video on Facebook- A Gentleman's War.
