Original and conversion. I really love the originals, and whish I had found them before I did, when they were becoming 'collectable'.

Conversion of a conversion - originally he had a .30 cal MG but then I saw Rogue One and fell in love with the Guardian guy...hence the weapon.

Alliance marines just washed, some re-armed and some re-posed...

Bounty Hunters now- most are just touched-up metal ones, but some are conversions - or in this case, pretty much a complete rebuild!

Death Troopers - very basic changes of equipment and a repaint - not entirely kosher but
they work for me. and we needed some for a game!

Mike, OUTSTANDING CONVERSIONS!! Really look as if they just stepped out of an SW movie scene. The LEGO weapons look fine to me, I think chunky seems about right for SciFi all their guns look big compared with reality. The designs are fairly recognisable as actual weapons, like the .50 cal sniper rifle, so would also be useful for doing modern wars figures in the 'heroic style' of 28mm. In some of the pre-clone wars Graphic Novels there are BOSSK twins, well the same species anyway, so having them in the Empire period is reasonable. I really like the variety of Bounty Hunter type you have managed to create, a very motley bunch ! Maybe you could add a couple of female bounty hunters using the Fortnite figures as the basis. Your Death Troopers, work for me. Even if you don't think they are exactly like the ones in the movie. In the graphic novels they have Black armoured storm troopers in the same armour as the standard ones for stealth missions, so they could be used for them too. Actually they have specialist for all types of actions so as long as you arm them with Imperial weaponry anything should look Star Warsy enough to fit with a game Great Work!!

Love these! That 4-Lom conversion especially is impressive from the German MG42 gunner.

wow mega update! really nice work Mike so much to look at:) Love the rebel ground troops they look great. How did you tackle the helmet for those guys?
4-lom is an excellent conversion there's no way that came from the figure next to it.
The bounty hunters look great also. nice to see an action masters boba fett in there and the c3p0 bounty hunter is a nice touch too.
and yeah the death troopers work well I reckon they are a big figure so stand out well.
awesome!

Tx for kind words guys.
The heads came from airfix GIs with mputty additions to helmets. Could have caste but did each one. Needs female members too tho.
jhonpog - should have paid proper tribute to you for your fantastic contribution to the thread! You have created some great stuff, and inspired me to get back to SW as part of our space opera games/campaign.
The droid cast - I'd be interested in a couple please, if we can do a deal?

This thread has inspired me to sort out my SW figures properly, and box them for play with their character sheets for our STAR rules, and get the SW Character Ref Book out again to go through and list tose I still need to do.
My problem is I'n a bit vague about the chronology of the saga and don't really know which types of Storm Troopers fit in where/when! Must research and make some notes.
Jhonpog - you didn't respond to the enquiry about the droid casting? - should I PM you?

This kickstarter for Plastic Army Women should make it much easier to add some women to the battlefield once it releases. Any ideas on characters or units?
