Dave and everyone else,
The Plastic Warrior Show is held at the Winning Post pub in Twickenham. Mike and I will be going and I know Brian Carrick will be there too, as well as Tim Gow with whom I intend to have shady business dealings....
Congratulations Dave, an event worth missing the PWS for I think!

Ah ha..! Well let's just say that my project to put on a Little Big Horn Battle Cry scenario using Britains Deetail figures is about to receive an enormous boost! When I get back from the show this afternoon I will have more US 7th Cavalry than I will ever need and a quarter of the number of mounted Indians I require for the scenario.

This sounds most exciting, l do hope that an agreement was reached with Tim. Do post some pictures sometime. I am reminded of Waddington’s “ The battle of the little big horn” which l adored as a boy. It is still in a cupboard upstairs.

Ah yes, I remember that Waddington's game. I had a copy until a few years ago when I sold it. Sadly the figures had become very brittle but I enjoyed the game itself.
Tim and I had come to an agreement re the figures before the show-I officially retract my tongue-in-cheek suggestion that any shady dealing was involved! The US cavalry are just wonderful with a better paint job than I expected. I have enough for A Gentleman's War and The Men Who Would Be Kings as well the Battle Cry scenario I mentioned earlier. At the show itself I even managed to get the five Teepees I need for the Indian camp in the LBH scenario. I also persuaded Mike to buy the 1975 Airfix Waterloo game!

That sounds most exciting. Do let us see some pictures of your purchases and subsequent games.
