Hi Nick. I wrote the rules myself and I'm modifying a few things. I used 12 sided dice. Different troop types required a different number to kill an enemy in combat. Indians got bonuses for attacking in and from cover but a penalty for attacking formed forces from the front. I'll post the rules in a few days.

Thanks, Quantilltoy! I'm looking forward to seeing your rules. I ran a Fetterman's Fight in 54mm a few years back using The Men Who Would Be Kings but I think the Plains Indian Wars really require their own dedicated set of rules.
