Never content with just having 24 different projects on the go, I was wondering about doing Dettingen in 54mm. For French I might use Tehnolog Northern War figures for the rank and file and for British and allies perhaps AIP SYW Prussians? The hats are not tricorny enough so would need changing, and the ghastly open neck shirt filling in, but they might do.
Any other ideas for infantry officers and cavalry? I have a couple of (I think) Charbens officers which are passable.

Have you had a look at All The King's Men? Their AWI range may have some suitable figures for the British.

I like their figures, but most look a bit too late for WAS (to my eyes anyhow). I'll keep searching (on and off). Sorry about the tardy response BTW.

Late to the game here, but I always thought a good WSS or WAS cavalry option would be Call to Arms ECW cavalry but with tricorne heads swapped on. The buffcoats seem a good early 18th century match...

If you can wait til next year to start this period, or to expand your existing range, Expeditionary Force are planning to release some 18th century figures. If the figures are up to their usual standard, then they're going to be brilliant.
Best Wishes Dave

Would the HaT 7YW range not be close enough, or convertible?
