Very nice Dirk. I always seem to work better under pressure, so hope all goes well with the project. Only about 12 weeks left for you!!!!! Although I suppose you can do without unhelpful comments like that.
Hope you're going to post photos of the game and I hope there will be a video of the game on YouTube, then we can all enjoy it.
Best Wishes Dave

Dave, Sorry! I've been moving house, but I did get the heads and here are some pictures! Thank you again so much for sending them, especially transatlantically! As you can see the heads work pretty well; not perfect to scale but not really noticeably too large to my eyes, especially from a little distance. Original head Roman head Other angle

A couple other heads and pics: A Decanus and two of his contubernium troopers search for those dastardly Celts. The empire in the East. Close up of the Decanus.

Hi,
Great to see the figures. They look very impressive indeed and suit the theme you want for your project. The Decanus looks particularly impressive. Can just imagine him sorting the rank and file out with his vitus stick.!
Glad to have been of help. That's what the forum is all about. I've also sent you a message via the messaging system on the forum, so hopefully you'll get it along with the extra info. Let me know.
Hope the move went well and you settle in quickly.
Best Wishes Dave

That game really is a thing of beauty. Deeply inspiring and shows how appealing 54's can be. Not sure about others, but at times I find it hard to go back to the "little scales," especially after seeing things like this. Thanks for sharing!

gonefishing,
I know what you mean-even 28mm these days seems too small to me.
Cheers Anthony

Thanks for the post and link Dirk. Have seen the game. Very impressive and what beautiful figures. You can see the hard work you guys must have put in to get it ready for Crisis. What a great contribution Ex-force have made to Ancient 54mm gaming, and now we have tge Napoleonics being released.
Just hope the planned Punic war figures go ahead as planned next year. Really looking forward to that (especially as Scott said there would be elephants!!!!!), although my Bank Manager might not be too pleased!!!!!
Best Wishes Dave

From a post I've seen it looks like Ex-Force are planning to release new Ancient figures this year - wars of the Romans. It didn't specify what that would be, but if I remember correctly from an email I had last year from Scott Lam from Ex-Force, it mentioned early Imperial Romans and Punic war figures, including elephants!!!!!!
Yet another project awaiting my wallet!! (I already have too many on the go), but with semi-retirement coming up this July, something to look forward to.
Best Wishes Dave
