Thanks to Mike's patience and help, I think I've managed to learn how to reduce the size of my photos. Many thanks Mike. Rhodian Slingers Agrianian Javelinmen Persian Kardakes and Apple Bearers Phalangites.

Here's a photo of my Kardakes.
There still seems to be some controversy/discussion over their uniforms and armament. I've done them as Hoplite soldiers - though some think of them as light troops.
Re the colouring, I've used Nick Secunda's colouring he gives for what he calls Immortal regiments in the Osprey book. Now I'd read that by the time of Alexander, the Immortal regiments had disappeared from the Persian army, and there were only the 1,000 Apple Bearers.
Secunda bases his uniforms/colours on tomb paintings. Some people think they the Kardakes were the sons of Persian nobles grouped into a cadre. So, using what some might think of as warped logic, I thought that if this was the case, then they would have some kind of fancy clothing, so (believing that the Immortals are no longer around) I decided to use the Secunda colouring for my Kardakes figures. The ones in the photo are light blue. I have just done a unit in yellow (Will post a photo later) and will do a unit later in red.
And anyway, I JUST LOVE THE COLOURS AND WANTED them in my army!!!!!
What do the rest of you think. Any suggestions would be welcome as we sometimes work in the dark/alone on projects, and one if the great things about these forums is that we can tap into other people's experience and helpful ideas. Best Wishes Dave
