I have become a convert to grid based games after avoiding them for decades. I have used the Command & Colors games, both Napoleonic and AWI called Tricorne and I have been very happy playing the game using my 54mm figures. Finding the right size of grid mat was a problem until I inherited the original Aerodrome mat when the owner moved houses and got rid of much of his wargaming stuff. C&C is a card driven game and I like the uncertainty the cards supply. Next, I want to try using my Victorian Colonial miniatures using the ACW game Battle Cry.

What make are those Scots in the middle bottom of the 3rd picture. I bought the Scots painted on eBay. They are conversions. The bodies are IMEX American Revolution British . I don't know exactly where the heads are from. Possibly AIP Roger's Rangers. The painter used to sell regularly on eBay and was very clever at converting available figures into ones with unique uniforms.

Five inches measured horizontally. I use three inch square wooden bases, except for the artillery, which had to be a bit larger.

Hi. Great pictures and very tempting, so I went on Amazon (UK) to have a look at the game. The price was £81, which I thought was expensive is more expensive than the Napoleonic sets. Then I had a shock. The postage was down as £41
I couldn't believe it!!!!! I sent a note about this to Amazon, saying that this surely couldn't be correct, but heard nothing and this postage price is still on the site.
Aanyone else found this? Not sure where the game is posted from, but even if from America, would it be that expensive?
£81 pounds for the game I thought sounded rather expensive. Does anyone who uses it think It's worth it!!!!
Best Wishes Dave
