Great. I've made a note of the date and hope you'll be able to confirm the details this Summer. Last years event was a great success so look forward to joining/meeting you again.
Best Wishes Dave

I will pop this date in the diary and endeavour to come down for the games day? Will there be a psrticular theme or not? Cheers Alan

Hi Alan
No particular theme - the idea is to get as many varied games styles and periods as possible to let people see and try out new things.

Mike - provisionally pencil me in for running a VBCW game then - that early in the year shouldn't be a problem and gives me the impetus for finishing off some figures between now and then! Atb - Tim

The Venue has been confirmed so we need to start planning games and find out who is coming!
If you can let me know any games you would like to run and if you are coming then I'll update the opening post on this thread.
Also, if you could promote the event on your blogs with a link to the Forum thread that would be great - I'd like to get a few more people than last year if possible.
Many thanks
Mike

Hi Mike. Have done the deed and booked the hotel for March 16th, so please add me to your list of players. Do we need to bring anything to the event, or just ourselves? Will we need to "book a game" when the list is posted?
Best Wishes Dave

What are the hotel options in the area? I am keen to come if at all possible. Alan, It would be great to see you. Hotels in the centre are the Hilton Doubletree, Travelodge and Premier Inn. There are some others on the outskirts but still within walking distance of the town centre. Let me know if you need any more info

What are the hotel options in the area? I am keen to come if at all possible. Hi, I'm staying in the Hilton DoubleTree hotel, which is literally 5 minutes away from the venue. I stayed there last year and found it OK, and they do a good breakfast. There is also about £15 parking to pay on top for the hotel parking (it has an electronic eye when you pull into the car park. Some hotels Don't have parking - I think the Premier is one of them). Phone number for the hotel is 01483 221 000 Best Wishes Dave

Hypothetically is there an easy train from Heathrow? It looks pretty close.

Hypothetically is there an easy train from Heathrow? It looks pretty close. There is actually a national express coach that runs from Heathrow to Woking station. Otherwise you have to go into London and then back out again. Mike
