Hi, I'm hoping to sell my 2 units of French Italeri 1/32nd Dragoons. There are 4 figures per unit. 1 unit has red facings 1 unit has yellow facings (painted in the same style, etc as the red unit) (see photo but ignore the Cuirassiers!!!) Base sizes are 50x100mm I'd like £40 per unit (so £10 per figure), Not sure 're postage costs, but would sort out if anyone interested. If anyone is interested and going to the convention day in Woking on the 16th March, I'm also attending, so could bring them with me. Best Wishes Dave

Hi Davel!
I would be interested, I know your figures ( facebook!) and would be interested in case they are still available? Only I am currently low on money so maybe I will come back to it later. Are you selling them because of the fact you have the Ex-force figures now? Are the Cuirassiers Helmet soldiers kits or the Old Airfix ones? They look stunning! I have lots of the A call to arms ones, which are fine but quite fragile for the big cuirassiers I must say.

Hi Stan,
Yes they're still up for grabs - nobody seemed interested so thought I'd be keeping them.
Yes, I wanted to sell because I've started to use the Ex-Force figures. They're slightly bigger than the Italeri and fit in better with my Victrix figures, and of course, they're expanding the range all the time. I was told by a rep a couple of years ago that the old guy who owned Italeri had died and his son wasn't interested in 1/32nd figures, so That's why Italeri stopped making them.
The Cuirassier figures were bought from Ken Cliffe of All The Kings Men (sadly he's retired now so the figures are no longer available) and were made by a South American company and made under Licence by Ken. I have painted 4 of the figures you can see in the photo. I also have another 4 unpainted Cuirassier figures of the same make if you were ever interested. The figures are metal but the horses are repro Britain's plastic horses. Look good when they're painted.
No problem if you want them in the future. They're not going anywhere so I'll save them and give you 1st refusal if you like.
I know about being a bit short at the moment. I've recently been housebound for 3 weeks with a trapped sciatic nerve and as I'm self-employed at thd moment I took quite a hit not working for a month.
Where do you live and if in England, do you attend any wargames shows? I'm going to Phalanx in St. Helen's on Saturday. If so, would be good to meet a fellow enthusiast at a show. This Saturday a 54mm fan I know is putting on a huge 54mm game at Phalanx of the Battle of Towton - a Wars of the Roses game.
Hope that helps. Keep in touch.
Best Wishes Dave

Hi Dave! So so sorry for the super late reply! I could not log into the forum for a while, I think because I use boards also for the HAT forum. I am sorry to hear about your condition! I hope you are well now and able to work again? Ah, I see the reason why you are selling them! It's very sad Italeri is no longer in 1/32 game...I had never heard the story you mentioned before but it makes much sense to me!
I would be very happy to take over the figures at a later stage, the same goes for the cuirassiers if you are still willing to sell them off? Currently, I am far over my toy soldier budget haha so If you could hold on to them a little longer? That would be great! I am not located in the UK, I live across the sea in The Netherlands! I wish I could have attended other 54mm wargames! They are less common here though I have some friends active in this scale with whom I meet up every once in a while :-)
Best regards, Stan

Hi Stan,
Good to hear from you. No problem at all. They're in a box upstairs. The Italeri figures are painted - if you wanted to send me your email address via the message service at the top of the page, I could send you photos and you could see if they are what you want and see the standard of the painting.
The Cuirassiers are not painted - just sprayed grey ready for painting, but I could send you a photo if you wanted to see them.
I'm back at work now since June and had no further problems, although painting suffered somewhat in August when my mum died.
Had you thought of coming to the 54mm games day next March?
Best Wishes Dave
