There has, unfortunately, been a mix up with our booking for the Gallery room at Christchurch for the 14th and they have managed to book it to someone else on the 14th March.
They had another room free and last night I went down to the church with my wife, Sarah, and we played with laying out tables to see if that space would work.
It is smaller than the Gallery but still big enouigh to fit in 5 games and is still light and airy with access to a kitchen.
I have confirmed that we will take the Octagon Room instead and have updated the instructions in the opening post of this thread.
If you haven't confirmed that you are coming could you please let me know and also if you are interested in running a game as we only have 3 confirmed games at the moment plus a provisional game from Tim Rose and I can put on a game if required.
Many thanks

Paperboy has just announced that the book launch for his 54mm paper stuff will be at Salute this year so look s like that plans gone then - happy tp think about an alternate game if you want one - bu8t equally happy to stand down if there ain't enough folk to justify one - atb Tim

An alternative game would be good - I think we will get the smae number as last year, possibly a coupe more so at least 4 games would be a good number. thanks Mike

Mike, Just to confirm, Jonny Kemp and I will be coming probably bringing either a Roman/Briton or a Jacobite 1745 game. Pre-match tests have proven that Polish Winged Hussars do not travel well. Eric

Updated the games list - haven't heard back from Tim yet about what game he might run... We have 12 attendees this time - a couple more would be great if anyone can think of anyone else who might be interested in coming along?

Would Paul Morehead of Plastic Warrior magazine be interested. I have written to him recently and his address is in Woking.

Just a thought. Are there any potential kindred spirits in local Wargames clubs or Imperial miniature customers who would be interested?

Mike has just e-mailed our local club in Guildford reminding them of the event. Hopefully one or two will be interested enough to drop in...

Sadly it looks like I'm going to be working in Sussex on the day. I think the same thing happened last year...
