Hey all so I bought a couple of these cheap to see what the zombie figures might be like. Overall I think they are very nice sets, great sculpting the paint apps are fine and the not-lego buildings and textured pieces work surprisingly well. The figures are 1/32 in scale but the heft if quite light. So they work pretty well with most figures I think but I found the heads a little small (gah!). A rebase and a bit of glue and they would make useful figures; for those conversion junkies there's lots of potential for reposing head swaps etc

Mike, The Macfarlane toys 'Walking Dead' construction kits were available in the UK mainly in Comic Book and collectibles stores, like 'Forbiden Planet'. The boxed sets were expensive for what you got contents wise, but were good quality production. If you check Ebay you will see several sets available but the prices are still high as these were/are designed as collectables. The cheaper prices are available from EBay USA but of course there is the much higher cost of shipping to be taken into account. Their 1/32 scale figure range were available as 'BLIND BAGS' and what ever was inserted as a character and zombies in the larger construction sets. The Blind bags go for about £ 4.99 on Ebay, that's for one figure ! This range did quite well for the company while the TV series was still going but mainly for the larger scale animated figures and not really the 1/32 scale range. They changed over to 'The Game of Thrones' in a similar format which did better for them as it was a more popular show. Apart for the smaller kits that jhonpog has discovered they didn't make many others. The larger Penitentiary wall/watch tower and cell block sets are excellent and useful for several scenarios but not easy to find at a good price, you would need several sets of each to make up a reasonable display as they are designed somewhat like Playmobil where you don't get a full building in a box but combining sets will get you something complete.
