Hey all has anyone used scalextric figures as civilians/ conversions in their collections?

I thought that scaletrix was 1:43. So they’d be quite small.

The figure you link to is not a Scalextric product, it is a 3D printed resin figure compatible with 1/32 scale slot car systems. Although Scalextric figures are 1/32 scale they are not very detailed, certainly not as detailed as the cameraman shown. However they are hard plastic and could be useful to use as a base for a more detailed figure as they would take modelling putty very nicely. You would need a cutting tool (hacksaw, dremel, etc) to remove head and limbs as the material is quite similar to the AIRFIX K-RESIN.
There are other trackside figures out there made of a better plastic, polystyrene, and with some parts in kit form and with more detail, try putting '1:32 slot car figures' into Ebay search engine and see what turns up.
