I really look forward to seeing the photos. A fascinating period which would look terrific in 54mm!

Very good news indeed. Now, if they'd only do some 16th century cavalry - I need some mounted conquistadors!

Good find, Nick, thank you! The full truth is that I do have a set of 60mm mounted chaps (I think by Reamsa?), but the size discrepancy does bother me a little. And I live in hope one day Chintoys will do a cavalry set - they've recently done some for the Russian Civil War, so at least it's in the realm of possibility.

Oh, and I forgot, you play with your 16th Century guys unpainted.

In June Sergey Zabashta (mars) told Mike Pendergast that he wanted to make mounted Conquistadors, both light and heavy cavalry.

I use a Del Prado figure for my mounted conquistador which I obtained cheaply on eBay.

In June Sergey Zabashta (mars) told Mike Pendergast that he wanted to make mounted Conquistadors, both light and heavy cavalry. Ooh. Now that is very good news. Fingers crossed!
