Dave, how awful for you! One unit is more than enough, take care! Alan

Dave, I can second what Mike says, let us know if you need any help with figures or bits. Hope things turn around for you soon. Eric

Hi Guys, Thank you so much for your kind wishes and support. I'm very moved by your support and good wishes. Made me feel guilty for putting the post on. I only put it on to explain why I'd probably just do one unit - I didn't want you to think I was being tight if I turned up with just one unit. So thanks for the kind offers. If you won't think I'm rude, I'd like to save up and buy a unit myself - and it'll hopefully help a trader as well on these times - but I want you to know that I really appreciate the offers of help. My friend and I are trying to come up with dome other ways to support our business, and we're looking to making some videos. So, I might be famous for 5 seconds and will sign autographs next March at the games day, where I hope to see you all and thank you personally.

I am not a converter. I have tried but it seems to not be in my DNA. However, I would like to paint up an imaginary unit of 12 infantry just to feel a part of this outstanding endeavor. I will do more if I can, but I will start with what I know I will complete. I have a bit of back story in my head and will be more than happy to paint and gloss up some soldiers. I will say, feel free to set them aside as “reserves” if they are less than combat worthy. No offense will be taken.

The decision was “toy soldier” style, correct?

I think there could be Toy soldiers or other styles as folk wanted. I really need to read the whole thread to see where we got to in our deliberations. It seems ages ago we started this...

Sorry, I don't want us to lose sight of my question on base sizes for mounted figures, any thoughts? Thanks

There are going to be so many diff styles is it going to matter? Some of us like plain painted, others scenic style too. Do what comes naturally to you? But is we want to set a norm, that's OK with me too.

one more try. not seeking info on style for the bases of mounted figures, just the size, or is size not important here either?

I don’t think anything was set in stone and the base size is not to vital in mho? What do others think?
