I am not sure this is the correct area, please correct me if I am wrong.
I am building a Swedish (based on McKay's Scottish and German (Munro's) Regiments based on more Victorian than wholly accurate sources) versus those dastardly HRE types in 1/32. My main interest is siege operations, hence why I am very slowly building a large star fort. I am comfortable with available figures etc, what I am having huge problems with is helmets (and logically heads to go with them). I have converted some helmets into 'lobster pot' types but I am not happy with the quality. I have read a number of blogs and searched on the web for 17th century spare heads. I have already swapped heads between figures (e.g. ACTA/Airfix onto ACTA/Britains figures, but its not what I like doing.
I am after morion helmets, Spanish morion helmets with the high comb, 'flat' pikemen's helmets, continental or 'Dutch' pot style helmest, (Zischagge), classic ECW type lobster pots, burgonets.
Can anyone point me towards some currently available vendors that can supply such heads/helmets.
I am working on scratchbuilding some mortars at the moment, I will post pictures when they are done.
Many Thanks Scipio Alba

Have you looked into 3d-printing? I can't find it at the moment but I seem to recall davel found a 3-d printing company that did some rather unique figures.

Sounds a fascinating project. Are you OK casting your own in modelling putty from rubber or Bluestuff moulds? I have some Maros heads which might be OK, which you are welcome to borrow for masters. Or I could make the moulds for you to use I guess.

Mike,
Thank you for your kind offer, I have not tried or considered moulding my own heads. I will look to practice creating some moulds, may I then contact you once I am happy with the process to borrow some Maros heads as masters.
As for the project its something I have dabbled with for ages but in the past year, I have started getting more serious about it (not getting any younger).
Thank you so much.

tradgardmastre, sorry for the tardy reply, taking pictures is something I will also have to learn.
