But since I've expanded beyond just Star Wars figures I thought I'd make a new thread.
And here's some comparison pics to other 54mmish sci fi troops:
And today's print fresh out of the vat:

yeah wow that is all kinds of awesome aduck very well done. The printing looks incredibly smooth and figure size and heft look great. Also you seem to have gotten good at printing in a short time! I'd love to get one of these if I had the time.....but when (if) you get tired of printing figs for yourself would you consider printing for ahem others?

The printers are actually pretty straighforward if you watch a couple videos on them, and I've certainly had my share of failures so far...
And haha, happy to, though I'll have to figure out how to do shipping so the resin doesn't break (they're a little more fragile than I'd wanted, though that may be due to the type of resin I'm using).

A quick update of some new 54mm stuff I printed (I've been printing like mad but not all of it is 54mm).
First up is a 28mm walker I intend to use as a 54mm "Weird War 2" light, 1-man walker:
Two German Fallschirmjäger pose next to a Wanderpanzer HH-22. The HH-22, or "Hirschhund," was highly prized by the airborne branch of the Luftwaffe for its relatively light weight which allowed it to be airdropped in parts and assembled by paratroopers on the ground, and for its ability to navigate difficult and mountainous terrain. Several HH-22s also landed with glider-borne troops during the early war operations against Dutch and Belgian fortifications and strategic bridges.
(This is a 3D-printed "Staghound" walker from Nfeyma on Cults3D).
Next are some incredibly evocative and baroque sculpts by Knucklebones Miniatures that I upscaled to 54mm to use as some post-apocalyptic soldiers:
And a closer view to see some of the details (I haven't printed bases for them all yet):

Some more new 54mm 3D prints, including my first attempt at some terrain!
I'm quite chuffed at how this soda can container came out. All the bits are 3D printed (free on Thingiverse: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4575091) and I painted everything with spray paint: flat gray for the soda can (actually a hard seltzer can since I needed a tall, skinny can), and a base of black and then either bronze or aluminum metallic for the metal parts.
Here's a shot with some 45-50mm figures.
And another angle with the ladder: I also printed out a window I intent to try using in a cardboard building:
And a few more post-apocalyptic figures from the Knucklebones Miniatures range, scaled up to 54mm.

very nice terrain aduck . it looks like it would in lots of scenarios and genres. did you have to scale up the ladder? It's surprising how much terrain out there is supposedly for 28mm but works really well at 1/32nd. I bought this awhile ago the crates are arguably better scaled to 54mm. It's instant star wars and works really well battlekiwi.com/product/scatter-wars-2/

And yes, I did scale up the ladder but mainly to fit the taller seltzer can, it's just a happy coincidence it then matched closer to 1/32nd scale.
And yeah, I'm going to print off some scatter terrain this week (trash cans, soda machines etc.) and will likely go slightly smaller than 1/32nd since I think they will still fit in well.
