Here's a photo of my in progress 1860s Maori Wars. The British are all ACW Union conversions, except for the officer who is from Expeditionary Force. The Maori are all from Regal Toy Soldiers in NZ.

Nick; My Go To for Colonials is TSATF with 8 figures units. Eric I have used Men That Would be Kings with my 54mm NWF using half size units which worked well.

www.backyardbattalion.com/Still steadily painting away at Airfix Space Warriors ... and just received the new Backyard Battalion ‘kid’ figures by Reis O’Brien (shared order and UK shipping with Alan Tradgardmastre) as shown in the recent Toy Soldier Collector magazine. Should be good for our variation of Scouting Wide Games on the tabletop. Will show these figures soon ...

Nearly finished my 6th 60mm Classical Indian elephant. Also working on some 40mm SYW figures by E.W.Baylis that Mike drew our attention to a few months ago -- lively figures

Long time no post, cause the site doesn't like pc VPN but is ok I've discovered with the mobile on VPN! Having done about 10 buildings for Salt Flats City, Pima23 Inc some for Chinatown, and lots of characters good and bad, switched back to SF for a game on the planet Pima. Two new factions of course, Death Guard Nurgle Chaos Vs Sisters of Battle, all very pseudo 40K. SoB are resin print, DG are converted Buzz Lightyears. Doing some new terrain from a wrecked ATAT model.

I need another collection like I need another...
But I could not resist the Backyard Battalion miniatures. It looks like they might be just the thing to introduce my four-year-old grandson to wargaming. How could his mother/my daughter object?
Thanks, tradgardmastre!
We will need to start another thread to discuss rules.
