I wargame with a group in the Pittsburgh area at Legions Hobbies & Games the first and third Wednesdays of the month. I ran a 54mm Zulu Wars game this last Wednesday. Rules used were Two-page Skirmish Rules by Steve Winter. The scenario was based on Scenario 9, "Tables Turned" from Scenarios For All Ages by CS Grant & SA Asquith. Ten Zulus were being pursued by 20 British infantry when after one move they faced 30 more Zulus who came from the flanks and rear. The British players decided to fight it out instead of retreat and quickly lost over 50% of their men and became out numbered. Dave Here's a link to pictures of the initial deployment- link

Do you have a link to the 2 page skirmish rules? It looks like Steve's site has gone down.

Any time I see a Zulu game I look over at my painting desk and feel guilty--Zulus and Brits, primed, based and waiting on me....
Some of your figures look like semi-flats. Is that just my eyes playing tricks on me?

None of them are semi-flat. The Zulus were cast by me from a mold set by Dutkin's Collectables link. Half of the British are Victorian Miniatures castings and the other half were cast by me from a running Guardsman mold with heads I cast from a Prince August mold. All are my painting.
