Just finished my Saka horse archers using the new Ex-Force horse archers box of figures. Sorry, Don't know why it has gone upside down

Just finished my Persian War Camels. I looked on the web and found some camels with a howdah on, so decided they looked good and decided to do some. The figures and shields are Ex-Force, but the camels are Pabo toy animals as Ex-Force Don't make any camels yet. My sculptor mate Steve did his usual fine tricks and sculpted and made the blanket and the howdah and put on the rings and string. I then added the nails and extra wooden strips and here is the result. I've just got To varnish the finished items and add string bridles when Steve lets me have some of the string he used to tie the howdah to the camel. The shield patterns are paper copies of shield designs stuck on with PVA. The nice thing is that, like my elephants, They're unique Best Wishes Dave

Your shields all look amazing! One might call me a cheat in that they're printed on paper and cut out. My mate did them for me on his computer and sized them for me to fit the shields after I'd painted the zig-zag pattern on them. I have some spare if you'd like some. Best Wishes Dave
