Not a cheat but rather a cunning plan I would say!

Great work as usual Dave. I love Ex-Force figures. The joins/gaps at the shoulder for the seperate arms can be a bit tricky to minimise I find but you clearly overcome that - any tips you'd recommend - Milliput? sharp knife? Rupert

Thanks Rupert. I just use Milliput to fill in the gaps around the arms, then use a wet brush to smooth it out. I also usually cut a bit off the pin on the arm so it fits better in the socket.

During this lockdown, I've managed to continue with my Expeditionary Force figures. I've just finished my 6th pike unit - now it can go with my other 5 pike units!!! Attachments:

Excellent work, though I break a sweat when thinking how to store them. 28's are hard enough! Superb work, though!

Terrific work there. Storage would worry me too. Are the pikes metal?

Hi guys. Thanks for the interest. To answer your questions:
1 THE officers cape comes with the set, so just needs painting 2 The pikes come in 2 parts with the figures and are hard plastic. They fit together really well, and the long length of the movement tray at the front is there to 1 protect the pikes from being broken/damaged 2 to help measuring distance during the melee as the pikes would reach before shorter spears 3 for storage, I use Really Useful Boxes (Rymans sell them and often have a 3 for the price of 2 offer) - what did we do before the invention of these boxes?!!!! I put metallic paper on the bases of the boxes and magnetic strips on the bottom of the sabots or individual figure bases. If you measure carefully, you can get quite s few units in the boxes (I can get 4 pike units and some skirmisher in one box) The most important thing to measure is the height!!!! Or you'll find raised spears, etc., Will get broken
Best Wishes Dave
