I am thinking about leveraging my small collection of US Marines for the Boxer Rebellion and adding some Filipino Moro warriors for them to fight in skirmish games. This means that I will most likely end up with 100 figures for each side. The Moros look like they would be easy enough to convert with different AIP plastics, but before I plunge in, I thought I'd put it out to the collective wisdom of the LWR community if they know of any figures, plastic or metal designed specifically for the period.
Times like this, I really miss Les White.
Thanks, Nick Stern

Don't we all - this would be right up his street!
I don't know of any in plastic, I do recall at least one Traditional Toy style figure maker doing them. Also Victor Wong does figures but of bands and dancers - again prepainted metal.
Nice plate of illustrations where's it from please?

Dorset has (or at least used to have!) a very nice variety of Moros and marines, full of character and charm, as always. Keep us posted on your progress, Nick! The Filipino conflict is yet another period that has exerted a tug in the past, so I'd love to hear how you get on!

Mike,
I found it on Pinterest under Moro Warriors. Unfortunately, there was not a higher rez. version.

Daryl,
Thanks! I love the Dorset castings! I'll bet I can use them for South China Sea pirates as well.

I'll bet I can use them for South China Sea pirates as well. Oh, you could, you could. And then share photos of those games as well!
