I usually paint my 54mm figures matt and them coat them in yacht varnish, however I am hoping to paint a load of white coated French troops soon and am worried the varnish might yellow slightly, even straight after application. So I have decided to use gloss enamels on them. Probably humbrol (I have a decent range), but am missing a gloss flesh colour....can anyone suggest a manufacturer for a high gloss flesh coloured paint?

If it helps, I mix Humbrol gloss orange with their gloss white to produce "flesh".

That's a good tip. It's years since I used enamels, let alone gloss ones, so I have some experimenting to do.
