florists lichen for scrub and rough hedges. bocage and trees from 'last Valley' at UK wargame shows (no website as far as I know). Britains stone walls. home built stone walls from gravel on a plastic ruler with polystyrene core (can be done surprisingly fast). aquarium decorations for more trees and rocky outcrops. much trad wargames terrain is usable too - 28mm resin walls especially.

This video is spot on for what I have done in the past: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNEAMRy37qc&ab_channel=kevintregunnaIf you can find rubberized horsehair sheets at an upholstery store...it looks even better. Just harder to locate. For walls I use cast off materials...usually styrofoam lengths covered in a paint/glue/sand mix. Really depends on what kind of wall you want. You could layer cardboard and mask the edges with painter's tape, and use the slurry mentioned above as well.
Mike made a good point about stone walls. You could make a mini-one like you would make a real one. Take stones and meld them together with plaster as the grout. Caulk might work too but you would have to paint everything afterwards. Maybe if you use clear caulk it wouldn't show and you would not have to paint anything?

I use green scourers for hedges. Cut them to size, hack them a bit to look a bit more natural, and hot glue them to a base of choice. Then I either spray or paint a different shade or two of green roughly. For walls I purchased the thick cork mats from IKEA. You can get a set of 3 for about £3-4. Break it up into stone sized chunks, rip and tear bits off to prevent them looking too regular, and hot glue them together. Then I coat in a thin layer of filler, spray prime, paint and drybrush.
