Hi
Just wondered if anyone had ever ordered stuff directly from EF and whether there were any additional import duties etc. to pay on top of the normal cost - I’m based in the UK.
Thanks
Bill

Thanks for that Alan - just wonder if Brexit might have changed the situation compared to a few years ago? I normally get my Exped Forces stuff from Steve Weston (who’s pretty scathing about the effect of Brexit on the cost of importing figures) but they’ve got what seems to be a good deal on weapons sprues but I wondered if there might be some nasty hidden costs in the form of import duties? Maybe Jacob Rees Mogg is a member of this board and could enlighten us? 😂 Bill

Hi Just wondered if anyone had ever ordered stuff directly from EF and whether there were any additional import duties etc. to pay on top of the normal cost - I’m based in the UK. Thanks Bill There will be VAT on the import - possibly not additional duties as well, so you would get at least 20% extra plus an £8 handling charge. Brexit has nothing to do with imports from Singapore or the USA, but the Royal Mail does seem more vigilant now. Small orders might slip through without VAT - in theory, anything under £135 should have VAT charged by Xforce and come without an extra charge... Mike

I too have been lucky when, for items Stve W didn't stock, I ordered direct ie no import duties, but caveat emptor as always. Very good service from Scott too BTW.
