Sat down ( feeling a tad miserable with a cold ) this afternoon and watched this film on Film 4. I loved it, having seen it years ago but had remembered little of it. It is crying out to be gamed . Have any of you used it for a game/scenario ? What rules could one use?

There would be a charisma rule with diminishing affect on the natives as the god king does things inexplicable for a god.

Does the king get married, cut himself, blaspheme etc? reaction of natives - stunned disbelief, angry muttering, rock throwing, charge etc. Elite loyal native regiment holds the mob at bay, rope bridge... This story was a microcosm of the British Empire, especially the Indian Mutiny as the Brits bring so much progress only to be set upon by ungrateful natives.
