Hi,
anyone else planning on going along and fancy a cup of tea and a chat?
I'll be looking for figures for a number of ideas for 'close action' games I have in mind: Prisoner of Zenda, pirates (smugglers really) and French-Indian wars. Oh, and some of the Britains/Herald British infantry in 1905/60s uniform which might take on some 1/35th scale Daleks I happen to have (as you do).

Sadly can’t make it. That is the third event on that day I would have liked to have gone to.

I will be going hopefully. I too am looking for pirates and smugglers so we will need to duel methinks! I have the pirate ship under the bed to work on and some pirate figures already but they are a shade undersized at about 50mm. For the next Woking games day I was thinking of a pirate adventure game!
Would be great to game again at the event. I can probably rustle together enough forces for a fantasy battle with Swords and Sorcery and Squares and my portable wargame tiles, or could run a skirmish on the old green felt?

I can’t make it as I am away on holiday - first I will have missed since 2015.

I can't make it either, as my nephew and his family are coming down to visit.

Not me neither. Sounds fun though.

Hopefully it won’t be too disrupted by train strikes.

thereferee,
pistols at a conveniently later hour than dawn I suggest! I like the idea of a pirate ship under the bed, every bed should have one.
I'll pm you and hope to chat on the day.

Any joy Brian? I settled for a small band of valorous knights that will also serve as character figures in larger battles.
