I've started yet another project -- 54mm Armies inp Plastic Sudan campaign. Am having the figures painted for me (too many other projects to paint them myself)
However, I'm beginning to realise that these fixtures are becoming difficult to get hold of. I have enough Egyptian infantry and Mahdist and British infantry, but wondered if anyone has any of the following they would like to sell?
Egyptian cavalry Lancers Egyptian artillery Indian Lancers Sudan era
I've been on ebay UK and seen the Lancers, but they are from America and the postage is incredibly expensive so not worth it.
Many thanks Dave

Dave, As far as I know, AIP does not make Egyptian artillerymen, though I wish they did. I make do with ACW artillerymen with head swops. Nick Stern

Postage is crazy. One option is to contact AiP directly and see what it will cost to send the figures to you minus the boxes. I've ordered some models from Europe that way and it helped reduce the shipping cost.

John Ayrey Models in a UK importer for AIP according to their website www.ayrey.co.uk/find-a-retailerTheir website isn't much help as you can't work out which retailer they supply takes which products but it might be worth dropping them a line and asking who they supply with AIP in the UK? I know Andys models seems low on stock.

If anyone is interested in purchasing AIP figures, please let me know. They are still a relatively good bargain if you're in the US. I would be happy to buy them and send them on. I am sending a package to Dave and that will help me figure out whether or not shipping costs are prohibitive.

It looks like it will cost about $45 or 37 GB pounds to post 5 boxes of figures to the UK. AIP boxes cost $12.95, though some Sudan sets are on sale for $9.95. Shipping to me is minimal.
If you think it's worth it, shoot me a personal message and we can figure it out.

I was able to get the shipping price for approximately 5 boxes worth for figures down to $30 USD from California to the UK. eBay from the UK to the US is currently charging me a flat $25 for even a light weight item, so, given today's high shipping prices, it's a bargain.
Again, I'd be happy to act as the intermediary for any UK members who are interested in purchasing from AIP.
