I recently acquired via a boot sale and a swift foray on eBay a modest selection of the figures produced by Technolog - the Patrol and Dark Attack sets as well as the Gothic style terrain pack, two of each in fact. My plan is use them for skirmish style actions with perhaps a dozen or so figures a side and I am already working on a kind of background to use with them in or der to give some context to the games. I have a few options for rules but have yet to settle on any so for now it is just a case of thinking about the painting. The figures are hard plastic and best described as being like GW models on steroids! They have oversized weapons (oooer Missus!) and some truly over the top armour but for all that have a certain presence about them. Now here is the thing. After a little Google-Fu I discovered that Technolog also produced two sets of Barbarians and a set of Wizards - all of these seemed to be in hard and soft plastic. Does anyone have any ideas on where I might be able to source these from? I only need two sets of the Barbarians - I believe there was four figures in each - and one of the Wizards. I have opted for a rather muted, earthy style palette for these models - the box art is a little on the garish side for me - and am looking forward to painting them and hopefully getting some pictures uploaded when ready. I guess I will now be disappearing down a rabbit hole looking up odd 54mm figures to press into service for this latest piece of whimsy!

Hi Mike,
That would be fantastic if you have! I was not really sure where to start the search other than eBay. There used to be a great Toy Soldier show called Skirmish in Sidcup that would have been a useful place to rummage about at for odd figures.
All the best,
DC

The Dark Attack and Patrol sets are the ones commonly available, other sets do turn up on eBay now and again. I used to buy them direct from Russia but that is no longer an option. Heres a current Ebay listing for barbarians - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304689597464

You've just missed the Plastic Warrior show which is probably the best place ever for picking up odd figures. Back next May!!!
Figures are in the garage so bear with me whilst I summon up the courage to look for them!

Funnily enough I'd just come across these online and thought, hmmm.. that would make a good project. I've resisted so far but now I'm tempted again...

Song of Blades and Heroes would a perfect ruleset for these figures (if you want a skirmish game).
