Very nice looking game and photographs! I have had the rules for a couple of years but having been painting and finishing projects from other scales they have sat unloved on the bookshelf, until i saw this that is. I love how you painted the figures, very nice. I am glad that the rules give a good game. I mainly play solo because I have been too busy to drum up interest. However once I get a couple armies together i am sure I can get some neighbors and friends to try wargaming. Thank you for the inspiration!

A very nice set up you have there. I very much like the rules: the 'turn of a card' system to make the course of action unpredictable, a much better take on friction than all the 'dice for how many command points' or 'dice to activate each unit'. The firing is straighforward and I like the advantage / diadvantage system for melee combat. Morale is a bit low key in the game but that's ok. We make more of the cameo characters and the cards as they add a good element to the game. Having making a start for a version for renaissance as I have a large collection of 25mm figures and I think they'll make for an entertaining game.

I enjoy the rules very much, mainly because they are clearly written with bigger figures in mind and the years 1890-1914 in mind. The rainy and foggy weather cards are a bit of a drag, I've found. And although I like the melee system's results, there's a lot of steps involved which slows the game down a bit.

Excellent looking game and a rule system I love to play but hate teaching! No matter who or what no one listens when you explain trading cards for actions so the one play who did listen gets charged and he starts throwing cards to turn and fire at that charge and everyone who didn’t listen starts grousing that “they didn’t know you could do that!” I live that you’re getting the figures on the table and batting it out! Thanks for sharing.
