I think 40mm is 1/43 scale, so I would have thought that 1/35 scale figures will be significantly taller. It would mean your lowly peasant slingers were more beefy than your hard-fighting warriors!

Alan Master Box do a 1/35th Greek slinger, so smaller than 1/32nd. I'm painting one I their Greek Hoplites at the moment -- 2" tall from foot to top of helmet(without the crest) The slinger has a Greek hat on (like a large Panama!!!!) which you could leave off and sculpt some hair on if you're in converting mode!!!!@
