Hello wargamers! My name is Jacob, I am almost 17. I discovered wargaming quite a few years ago and it has grown into my greatest passion. The book that got me started in this hobby was, to nobody's surprise, H.G. Wells' Little Wars. That book quite literally saved me from the craziness that my life was at that point. About a year ago, I decided to research Wells' ruleset and try to find any variants I could in the hopes of making my own. I stumbled across Funny Little Wars in a blog (for the life of me I cannot remember the author) and I was, for lack of a better word, lovestruck. However, my family has always been quite impoverished and getting a job, and keeping one, is painfully difficult given the mental health issues I have gone through (and seem to be continuing to go through). During my wanderings on the internet, I discovered this blog. Given that Little Wars was a huge part of my childhood, I was ecstatic to find a place that it is actively discussed and kept alive (along with its variants). Anyway, I have come here to ask for help with obtaining Funny Little Wars. It would make the year for me if any of you fellow wargamers could help me out with a copy of FLW. Normally, this is something I would never ask, as I'm normally against things like this (I was raised right, in my opinion), but I figured I may as well put myself out there and ask. I thank those of you who see this for giving me the time of day, and I would be grateful of any response, whether it would help me or not. Thank you, Jacob L.
Also, if it needs to be said, I do not plan to be poor for long. After this last year of high school, I plan to go to Harvard University. I am more than intelligent enough to warrant not being poor but life had different plans for my beginning, I suppose.
