Hello chaps, I'm looking to build out my army of medieval figures for a 54mm table top wargame based on Agincourt. Currently my figures are a collection of 500 made primarily of ones I have had since a child, so some are anachronistic to the time period. I'd like to slowly switch them out with ones more suitable. Does anyone know of decent 54mm 15thC figures ?

Hi Paul Have a look at Expeditionary Force figures. Some lively sculpts -- although I think they're 60mm

Hi Paul,
As Dave says, the X-Force figures will be perfect for your needs, but they are very large and won't mix with other true 54mm ranges. That of course doesn't matter as they do all the figures you need...

Hi Paul,
I believe some of the Britains Deetail knights are accurate for the 15thC. I have been collecting the Deetail Crusaders and have acquired a fair number of surplus later Medieval period figures that I would be happy to part with. Where are you located?
I wonder why Britains Ltd. made the decision to mix up the historical periods of their knights?

Nick,
That's a question I've asked myself many times...it really makes no sense.
Cheers Anthony

Good luck with the project!
I use Britains knights, I think the armour is about right, and Airfix medievals for men at arms and archers.

Britain's was making toys, not models, and I suspect that they were often based mostly on Hollywood knights as were their cowboys and indians.
Doesn't mean they can't take part in wargames though!
