Well, i ran three teaching games of A Gentleman's War this past Saturday. Wish I could give a better AAR report but I was teaching and not tracking the action play by play as I was nose deep in the rules to make sure I was running at least some of it right. I was also playing the balalaika a little once they got the rules down. I did remember to take pics of Pilum40's AWI collection on the field of battle.
If you've reached this far then I'll say that AGW certainly seemed to be a hit. We had chaos and strategy and above all, fun. Love how these rules play out and I'll most likely be using these for my ACW games in the future.

Fantastic photos. Thanks for posting. I've ordered my copy of the rules from Winged Hussar and my mate's printing off the cards for me. Hopefully arrive next week. Are those All the Kings Men figures? They look great

A lot are AtKM figures with a few Armies in Plastic mixed in there. I'd say about 90% AtKM figures. Still sad about Ken retiring from the hobby.

A beautiful looking game. And with musical accompaniment as well! Anybody know if Ken still games privately, or has he left the hobby altogether (for farming, I think it was)? At any rate, thank you for sharing the inspiration!
