Working on my Napoleonic armies I am starting to realise that (weirdly) no one seems to make British Line Infantry in plastic...
You can get British LIGHT infantry (and I have a unit of those already) and Foot Guards and Rifles and ....
Anyone know of any British Infantry that don't have shoulder wings?

I think Timpo are the only ones that aren't lights or guard.
Line infantry - centre company don't have shoulder wings - I guess I could just carve them off!

Mike,
I just checked my unpainted Armies in Plastic Napoleonic British Infantry and they have the line infantry tufts, not wings. And you can use them for KGL too!

Nick Hi Nick That is REALLY helpful - thanks! I think I'd missed these as they were under the War in 1812 section when I looked. thanks Mike

Hi. As some of you will know, I'm a great fan of Expeditionary Force figures. I went on the site the other day and looked at Future releases only to find some lovely French Napoleonic figures.
Don't know when they'll be released, but we'll worth a look.

Hi. There could now be an answer to Mike's original question last September regarding British infantry. Expeditionary Force are launching their Napoleonic range hopefully in August and this will include British infantry. Some pictures are on their site in the Future releases section. At the moment the Brits have lights and marine figures shown - Very nice they are too. But they are going to do centre companies and, to my great joy, highlanders at some point.
Look at the site and my post elsewhere on the 19th. Century section about their proposed figure ideas. This looks like a great range of figures.
Mike commented elsewhere on the price of the boxes (about £22 for 9 infantry or 4 cavalry figures). So some may think they're expensive, but given the quality of the sculpts and figures I have in my Ancient collection, they are well worth the price.
Best Wishes Dave
