Alan (Duchy of Tradgardland) Gruber and I have been looking at the potential for turning Boy (and Girl) Scout Wide game scenarios into a tabletop or garden gaming alternative. Alan and I are separately playtesting variations on the rules - some draft ideas are given on the blog page of posts below. manoftinblog.wordpress.com/wide-games-scouting-games-page/Problem: Suitable figures. I have done some conversions on smaller figures. Few 54mm scout figures exist (Marx old plastic 54mm, Britain's Lead hollowcast or reproductions) but I have a metal home cast mould that makes 60mm semiflat scouts so we are using these for testing. Other larger moulds exist at Dunken.com or using resin Lemax figures. Hopefully some draft rules, home cast figures and scenario / cloth playmat will be ready for the Woking 2020 Games Day.
