Does anyone who remembers this TV series (which I recently re-watched the boxed set off) have any idea where I can find some good photos of the Peacekeepers, the Ground Pounders, from the series - not the various characters? I am seeking inspiration with converting some Fortnight figures I have picked up. I have done the usual searches but all anybody seems to post is shots of the main characters!
This has really brought home the loss of Les White. I would have emailed him and at the most 24 hours later he would have come back with something for sure!
The uniforms are same-old-same-old tight black leathers, and there is one female figure in the range which is spot-on for this look and even carries an easily convertible pulse rifle. There are also a couple more females who will slot in as specialist of Comms and Heavy Weapons with almost just a repaint. There is also a male figure in the right gear, wrong weapon. I have enough to do my usual squad/fire team of 5 for all-female assault and heavy support, and another mixed team assault team.
One innovation I am experimenting with is the use of transparent bases. This is to overcome the effect of figures taking a patch of terrain into a spaceship!
Anyway - help to get a good shot of the basic Peacekeeper much appreciated.

Sorry I can't help Mike, but just wanted to agree with your suggestion of clear bases. I've often thought that scenic bases, now matter how nice they look, end up making figures look as if they are taking the countryside with them wherever they go!
Cheers Anthony

Some of the Fortnite video game tie in figures and stampers knocking around cheaply in The Works are roughly 54mm and quite varied and quite sci-fi - worth a look.

Yes they do - there are great matches for Peacekeepers and I have raised a couple of squads. What I am after is some shots of the ground pounders rather than the stars.
