I am sure Newray's Western sets have been out for ages but I have only just come across them on ebay & Amazon when searching for ideas for wagons to convert. From the look of it they do at least a covered wagon, a stage coach and a couple of different sized town sets. I've seen the scale described as both 1/32 and 1/28. Anyone got any of these and can comment on size and quality - you appear to get a fair bit for your money.

All the ones I have had/seen have been perfect to 54mm, and nicely done.

I've only ever seen the house from that angle. Does it have a back or is "open" like a doll house?

Can't help with that question I am afraid as I have only seen the two photos on Amazon. From this second one though I would guess it does have a back. nb - From the reviews also on Amazon looks like there are either two different versions of this set (the bigger one including the wind tower and covered wagon) or they downsized the set.
