Aplogies if I have posted this photo already... Does anybody know the game? It is a skirmish game set in the wastelands of the "Underhive" in the Games Workshop Warhammer 40K universe, and good fun if not played too seriously (many GW players are way too competitive!) The concept is of gangs fighting each other or the authorities and translates across to any other set of SF Skirmish Rules. We feature the gangs in our Kraken Nebulae Kross-over and Judge D games as 'perps. I made a gang of House Delaque (the gangs come from five different 'houses' and are around 10 figs in each. see Photo. And having done so - what do GW do but revamp the game and completely change the look of the Delaques into something far more creepy and sinister! Oh well, these will still do fine as 'perps. They are a set of the much maligned Tehnolog figures, with head and weapons converted (the latter are 28mm and plenty big enough for 54mm!) . I am looking at possibilities for the new-look Delaques (in fact all of the revamped gangs) but have yet to find any...

This is the new look! These are now what I am looking for figures for - any suggestions welcomed. and these are the smaller 40mm versions of the figures I used for the original gang

very nice conversions as always Mike! I like the tehnolog figures too especially for conversions. Not sure if there's anything off the shelf that would match the new look delaques but I imagine a great dealing of milliput on some generic sci figures would get you close for clothing. I think you're pretty close already with the look of the heads. Good luck!
Never played necromunda myself but it looks pretty cool.
GW did release a 54mm range called inquisitor. You might be able to pick up a few bits and pieces that would work.

Good call - I do have some Inquisitor bits somewhere - they were metal and hellish expensive like all GW figures. There was a robed figure in the series and somewhere I have some castings of the body...it might well work for the new Delaques.

You might take a look at the Star Wars Command line of figures; they have quite a lot of robed figures that might work well for a base you could build upon. The brown Jedi and the Emperor figure especially might work.

Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that? I do have a few spares of various lesser known Jedi etc - checking them out now! Looked through a few 'Lego' accessory sites yesterday to see if I could match up any Delaque style weapons to give the gang - not much luck though.

I was going to mention the Star Wars too. My other thought is any figures in great coats, like some Stalingrad figures.

And lying on my workbench - a Lord of the Rings figure, or rather the bottom half of one. Guess what - perfect for a Delaque! It doesn't even have to have legs under the robe. Now - where is the top half - probably been turned into a WWII US marine.
Looking at some other LOTR figures - the warlocks/witches look good ie usable too - and I know I have some of them tucked away somewhere... watch this space as they say.

I always seem to be late for the party! *sigh* I didn't know these existed. How long/old are these or this range? Must be ten years or more if its got droids!

Altfritz - pretty sure there is a post by Les White about these in the Star Wars thread...

You can still find them on Amazon in the States, and they're all over Ebay if you search "Star Wars Command." Really great figures, but with limited poses, and they cancelled the line before they got to making the Rebel Endor troopers unfortunately
