Just found some photos of the A-H I did for our Leipzig game... This is a conversion from a Conte Mexican officer. Flag from GMB Designs? or photocopied and touched up from Terry Wises' Military Flag book? Drummer conversion They are Grenzers, A-H Border Troops. Attachments:

Excellent work Mike, especially the grenzers. How did you make their heads?

The heads are a cheat - the set had heads in with the old tall false-fronted shako. I just trimmed it down a bit and put it on all the line figures.
On the artillery the heads are from the Early French set or its Supreme knock-off, and actually now I look closer they are some on AH infantry bodies and some on AIP Nap French crew.

I have seen these in the flesh and they are rather splendid, shame they don't get more outings

Stunning Mike! Simply Stunning! I came across your work via photobucket a time ago, and been a fan eversince! Love the Leizpig wargame you played and all your conversions! I am also building an Austrian army for my 1809 campaign, have loads of both of the Italeri sets but for cavalry and artillery and command figures I also convert and need to convert. Your work is a big inspiration to me! Thanks for sharing!

Some artillery, from Italeri infantry. I can identify the officer as Italeri French line infantry officer but are they others armies in plastic? And what set are they if I may ask?
