Ken Ciak stated his intention to do cavalry at the time of the release of the Yorktown figures. It looks like he is getting close. Some of those figures look like they are on Weston horses.

How do these fit in, size wise, with Expeditionary Force figures? Also, would I be able to use these to represent British Light Dragoons in the Peninsular (Tarleton helmet), or had the uniforms changed by then?

Great news indeed!! 54mm AWI cavalry are indeed in short supply, so these will be welcome additions. Always liked the Helmet Soldiers conversion of his AWI cavalry figure, sort of hoped it would have been released as a kit, or at least a "how to" as www.helmetsoldiers.co.uk/con1.htmlDave I'm afraid the British Light Dragoons in the Peninsular uniform was a lot different by then. These LOD AWI cavalry look like they are in open lapelled coats with tailbacks where as the British LD's were in Dolmans by 1800, see www.helmetsoldiers.co.uk/dragoon1812.html from www.helmetsoldiers.co.uk/cavalry.html?LMCL=e8tJ2I which at £5 each I feel is a very reasonable price. The Barzso/LOD AWI infantry is 54MM, 2.125 inches. They are a little smaller than XForce Napoleonic infantry, which is 57MM, 2.25 inches.
The small difference should not be noticeable in mounted figures.
The real question for compatibility is how big and hefty will the horses be in comparison to XForce horses?

IMHO, the horses look new to me? I do like the look of the figures - nice crisp castings with the right saddle furniture?
