Hey all play a short game with my son today; our first attempt at a dungeon crawl. Rules were very light if not non-existent; more about creating a narrative game for the little guy. Anyway it was a chance to try out my modular terrain bits that I have been working on whenever I get some free time. The rough idea is that it is a buried city and the knights etc are looking for treasure and finding skeletons instead

Looks like great fun! Where did you find large scale skellies? Edit: the terrain is pretty spiffy as well!

Thanks fellas yes we had fun I am hoping to introduce movement limits and dice rolls one day altfritz the skeletons are recasts of skeletons wars (?) figures. about 50 - 54mm tall; they work really well and are very cheap. They come in bags of 20 up to about 120 figures so for a few $$ you can go big easily. The skeletons are very easy to convert and superglue works well on them. I'll post some pics of the figures and further encounters soon

Wow, this looks fantastic! Reminds me of the feel of the dungeons in the computer game Skyrim. Thanks aduck. The modular nature of the terrain helps alot. No two set ups are the same. Funny I was at a friends place he plays with 28mm figures and it reminded me why I like 54mm so much more; alot more presence on the table and terrain doesn't have to be too much bigger

All hail The Timpo Action Packs knights and King Arthur / Richard the Lionheart ... yes! They are still great figures IMO, proportions are good, sculpts are good. A few head and arms swaps and you can get plenty of variation....
