Mike, thank you for the compliment. I'll be posting more on my blog next week (French this time). Ross, I am looking forward to Huzzah 2022. Great work. I have a soft spot for the Spanish. How did you trim the tricorne to turn it into a bicorne? I am at a loss.

The infantry are indeed wearing bicorns. I used Irregular Miniatures heads on ACTA French line infantry bodies. The dragons are AIP American Revolution cavalry. The tricorn hat has a slight peak in front which was trimmed to match the profile for rest of the hat. The front of the tricorn was then trimmed to a flatter, more rounded look along the same line as the figures forehead. The gunners are AIP French with AIP American Revolution heads trimmed as described.

Excellent work and I was curious about the conversion as well. Like that’s a downside of these style of figures conversion of some types are easy and others can be a nightmare.
