Dave,
No problem at all. I have done all my Zulus but not my British yet, so I'll bring a Zulu stand to show you.
Best wishes Anthony

Less than two weeks to go, so need to start thinking of planning...
Can I ask people who are running games to please let me know what size tables they want?
The tables we have to use are 6' x 2.5' go-pack tables so you can use a multiple of those.
Once we know sizes I can let Christchurch know how many tables we will need.
thanks

Hi Mike,
I've brought a 10' by 5' baize like base cloth, so either 4 tables or 3 tables with one at right angles. With no opponent I've never played a game with my Anglo Normans, which are orgnaised in 6 cavalry/12 foot units for Lion Rampant.
I have 7 units of mailed cavalry (can be segregated into 4 kinghts with lance pennants, and 3 sargeants with plain lances) 2 units of mailed spearmen 2 units of unarmoured spearmen 2 units of archers 2 units of 6 bidowers Each figure has a magnetic base and a unit sits on 2 steel paper topped movement trays, each 7" by 4.75", so a 14" unit frontage
Also 4 ox carts for a convoy.
Since I have no playing experience at all, any advice you have on movement distances, number of units/points and best scenario(s) from Lion Rampant rules given table size and available time would be helpful.
regards Pat

Dave, I have my satnav set to avoid motorways-the journey takes longer but is usually much more scenic and less stressful. And it avoids Insulate Britain protesters!

Thanks Anthony. Will try to set mine to do the same. I usually get on the M25 around J24 and come off it at J11, so that may avoid the problem. The trouble with the news is that they don't tell you which junctions of the Mway are being disrupted
