I've been putting together some terrain that should work for a wide range of periods and genres. Currently I am making Tudor Framed-ish buildings. These start off as the paper mache houses you can find at a lot of craft stores:
I used corrugated cardboard for the windowsills and card for the timbers (bulk box of chips). Masking tape is reinforcing the edges. Now that I have done one I have decided to use wooden coffee stirs as the timbers from here on out (I have three to do). You can get wooden stirs on Amazon for chump change and it save a ton of time/adds uniformity. This particular house will be a more run down establishment on the edge of town I need to clean up the door and finish adding card bricks to the chimney still. I will be adding these to a village of passable ceramic garden houses, two BMC houses, and a few modified wooden craft buildings.
BMC bombed out French Farmhouse
Cheap packs of 1000 wooden coffee stirs. Square ends.

They look like a good base for a building for sure. Look forward to seeing the finished result. I've had a go at a few buildings (everything is waiting for paint) but am always keen to steal I mean be inspired by others ideas
