My wargaming sparring partner, Mat, and I have played a few games of Borduria versus Syldavia. We used Paul Wright's new rules on the interwar period, with some of our own adaptations. Paul is presently putting together a new book.
Our next game, on the horizon is an American (Amerigan) invasion, 1900 era, through a portal, of Ozzz. The Amerigans will arrive piecemeal and will have machineguns etc and even a steam bi-plane equipped with one or two bombs. I was influenced by Phillip Jose Farmer's novel, A Barnstormer in Oz, which was set in 1925. I also have the new Wars of Ozz book which has army lists for Ozz forces that are basically Napoleonic plus low level magic and various beasties.
After we finish that gaming project there will be invasions by Bogavania (Renaissance level with Warhammer magic) and Dark Elves, with a lot of nasty close combat stuff, monstrous beasties and crack shot bowmen.
All in 54mm except the Munchkins are going to be around 40 or 45mm.

Thanks Cap. I'm still working on the Dark Elves. I have some of the Russian made ones and also the smaller True legends elves. I may use some SUpreme mounted Greeks as part of the cavalry but I am working on converting some knights to ride dinosaurs of I can find ones they can fit on.

I tried to add pics but I got a message that the files are too big. You can see pics of the growing Ozzz army at my Google blog, Quantrill's Toy Soldiers.
